Scandinavian Steel is committed to high standards of corporate and social responsibility. We aim to grow and develop our business while at the same time respecting the environment. Being a company that trades in natural resources we recognize the importance of caring for the environment. This approach protects our business going forward and has a positive impact on the markets and environments where we operate.

The health, safety and happiness of our employees are all integral parts of our practice. This is evident in the fact that most of our employees have stayed with the company for more than five years, some for more than twenty years.

We also have a Code for Responsible Sourcing which is based on the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Global Compact and the ILO core conventions on human and labor rights. Please feel free to download it here.
